CU Denver SEMA Results
2012 – Team Mile Highdrogen: Prototype-Hydrogen Fuel Cell – N/A
2013 – Team H2 Eco Challenger: Prototype-Hydrogen Fuel Cell – 1st Place, 54.1 mi/kWh (or 87.1 km/kWh) ~1,823 MPGe*
2014 – Team Archetype: Prototype-Hydrogen Fuel Cell – 1st Place, 37.37 mi/kWh (or 60.15 km/kWh) ~1,259 MPGe*

*Miles per Gallon of Gasoline Equivalent (MPGe) value is based on the EPA conversion factor where,
1 kWh = 3,412 Btu
1 gallon of gasoline = 115,000 Btu
Therefore, 1 gallon of gasoline = 33.7 kWh.
